2016 - 2017 with Lakeland Arena!

To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, or Discover information available. Upon completion of registration, a charge from Lakeland Arena will appear on your account.

You can not sign up for multiple sessions at  the same time.

 

2016 - 2017 Learn to Skate Online Registration

The Lakeland Skating Program is designed to serve the needs of both recreational and competitive skaters. The curriculum and experienced coaching staff keeps skaters enthusiastic about learning from the time they begin lessons until the time they reach their goals.

This exciting program consists of Snow Plow Sam (3-4 yrs.), Basic Skills (5 -13), Hockey Skills (ages 5-12) and Adult (14 and up).

W E WILL NOT BE OFFERING FREE SKATE, SYNCHRO AND THEATRE ON ICE CLASSES. 

Snow Plow Sam classes are 25 minutes, Basic / Hockey and Adult classes consist of 20 minutes of class time and 35 minutes of practice time. Upon the completion of each level, skaters will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and techniques to advance to the next Basic Skill level. Once all Basic Skill levels have been completed, skaters have the opportunity to take private lessons at a competitive level. The Lakeland Skating Program offers many disciplines from Competitive Free Style, Ice Dance, Show Case and Creative Edge Synchronized Skating and Theatre On Ice teams.

When signing up for the first time:

Children ages 3 and 4 belong in the  Snow Plow Sam 1 Class.

Helmets are required for the Snow Plow Sam classes.

Children ages 5 and above belong in either Basic 1 or Hockey 1 Class.

Rental skates are available at the Pro Shop within Lakeland Arena.

The cost is: $3.00 each time.

NEW THIS SEASON

All participants in our program must be current Learn to Skate USA members. The membership fee for participants is $12.00 per year and includes a welcome email, a welcome packet with their member card and number, skater record book, parent handbook, Learn to Skate USA magazine, sports accident insurance and information about skating.

Registration and Payment

The Learn to Skate Program will be offered Thursday Evenings and Saturday mornings. Non-Show groups during the Spring Ice Show will be offered a Tuesday evening session. 

Family Discount

If you are registering multiple skaters in your family, there will be a 50% discount on each additional skater registered after the first skater. Register your oldest skater first then choose to register another skater. Discount should show up on the payment page.
